GREENVILLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say one driver was killed and another injured when two SUVs collided head-on in Greenville.

Troopers said in a news release that the crash occurred Wednesday morning on Montchanin Road between Adams Dam Road and Kennett Pike. Police say 26-year-old Brandon Harper of Hockessin a Jeep SUV was driving north when he lost control of his Jeep while driving over railroad tracks.

Authorities say Harper’s car entered the southbound lane and collided with a Toyota SUV, which was being driven by a 58-year-old man from Pennsylvania. Troopers say the Toyota spun off the road and landed on top of a stone wall.

Police say the Toyota driver died at a hospital. Harper was admitted to a hospital for his injuries.

The crash is under investigation.
