WOODBURY, N.J. (AP) - A New Jersey man has been convicted of murder in the December 2012 stabbing death of a woman who had previously testified against him for a separate killing.

Gloucester County prosecutors say 63-year-old Richard Santiago of Camden was convicted on Tuesday of first-degree murder and related offenses in the death of 54-year-old Ramona Johnstone.

Johnstone was found unconscious in her apartment with multiple stab wounds. She died shortly thereafter.

Johnstone testified against Santiago in the 2004 killing of her boyfriend, Richard King, who had been visiting her at Johnstone’s Woodbury apartment complex.

A jury found Santiago guilty of aggravated manslaughter in King’s death.

He was released from prison about seven months before Johnstone’s killing.

Santiago’s $1 million bail has been revoked. His sentencing is scheduled for next month.
