NEW YORK (AP) - Police in New York City are investigating after a witness reported seeing a man being abducted at gunpoint.

Police responded to the scene in the Bronx on Tuesday afternoon for a report of an assault and abduction.

Police say officers were told a young man was forcibly abducted by four males.



The victim was apparently being assaulted and forced into a silver minivan. Police say the van was last heading east onto Dudley Avenue.

The identity and whereabouts of the victim are not yet known.

Police have released surveillance footage of the van.
