ASHEBORO, N.C. (AP) - The North Carolina Zoo is set to open a forest exploration ropes course for adventurous visitors.

The News & Record of Greensboro (https://bit.ly/1s9hvAu ) reports that the new Air Hike course will open on Friday and will allow visitors to complete a series of 23 obstacles with the help of a trained professional guide.

The course is located in the zoo’s Africa region between Junction Plaza and the Aviary.

Air Hike will be open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily through October. Tickets for the course will be $12, with sales ending at 4 p.m. each day.
