PHOENIX (AP) - Arizona authorities have arrested a woman accused of running an unlicensed dentistry practice out of her west Phoenix apartment.

The state Attorney General’s Office says 54-year-old Elda Graciela Margez De Zamora is facing two felony counts including fraudulent schemes and practices.

Phoenix police say she converted her apartment into a dentistry practice and operated there for at least two years.

Court documents state that Zamora had dental instruments, set up a bed as a dental chair and turned her living room into a waiting room with chairs and magazines.

Police say they learned about the illegal operation from the apartment complex’s owner on May 16.

Zamora was arrested two days later after a special agent with the AG’s Office went undercover and posed as a patient.
