BYRAM, Miss. (AP) - Byram police are investigating a homicide.

Police Chief Luke Thompson says officers received a call from American Medical Response about a person in cardiac arrest around 6 a.m. Tuesday.

Thompson says 41-year-old Felix Garth dead at the scene. He says an investigation showed signs of foul play.

Hinds County Coroner Sharon Grisham-Stewart told local news outlets that Garth was shot in the face.

Thompson says there were three other people in the home who have been taken in for questioning. He says no one has been charged.
