MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - Some bomb threats have been reported in New Hampshire schools, two days after at least a half-dozen threats were made at schools in the state.
Police in Manchester and Portsmouth say their middle schools received threats Wednesday.
Police said McLaughlin Middle School in Manchester was evacuated as a precaution and a bomb-sniffing dog was taken through the school. Students at Portsmouth Middle School were “sheltered in place” following an automated phone call about a bomb threat.
The Portsmouth Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1UdsqC1) the school said other schools in the state received similar automated calls. Police said the threat appears to be similar to an automated call made to Portsmouth High School that led to an evacuation Monday.
Similar threats were made Monday to other schools in New Hampshire and around the country.
