Water restrictions lifted in Minot earlier than anticipated

MINOT, N.D. (AP) - Minot residents can resume normal water usage, after a week of restrictions.

Officials last week restricted excessive water usage from sprinkler systems and lawn watering during pipeline replacement for a flood protection project at the city’s water treatment plant.

The restrictions were expected to last through Thursday, but the work finished early and they were lifted Tuesday night.
