NORMAN, Okla. (AP) - A woman charged in connection to the death of a 15-year-old boy during a party at her Cleveland County home has been sentenced to 21 years in prison.
Thirty-three-year-old Tonya Moss was sentenced Wednesday on one count of child neglect, one count of providing alcohol to a minor and one count of possessing a firearm while on probation.
Prosecutors say Moss allowed her teenage son to have people over for a bonfire, and several teenagers were drinking alcohol.
Authorities say deputies were called to the Lexington home in March 2015, where they found Nicholas Faught dead. An autopsy says Faught died from ethanol intoxication.
Moss testified that she tried to give Fraught CPR for several minutes before fleeing the home with her boyfriend.
