JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (AP) - A Jacksonville man has been found guilty of stabbing another man several times outside of a convenience store in 2014.
News outlets in Jacksonville report 50-year-old Adam Ingles was convicted Wednesday of attempted second-degree murder with a weapon in connection with the incident.
The State Attorney’s Office says Ingles and the unidentified victim got into an argument outside of the store in June 2014. Authorities say Ingles pulled out a knife and stabbed the man multiple times in the neck and stomach before fleeing the scene.
Officers later found the victim bleeding on a sidewalk. The man recovered from his injuries.
Ingles, who faces 30 years to life in prison, is scheduled to be sentenced in July.
