LEVITTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A man was struck and killed while walking on a highway in Levittown.

Bristol police say the 66-year-old was walking along Veteran’s Highway on Wednesday night when he attempted to cross the road outside of the crosswalk. He was struck by a van.

The man was pronounced dead at a hospital.

The driver of the van remained at the scene.

Police are investigating the accident.
