BRENTWOOD, Pa. (AP) - Allegheny County police have arrested a man they say killed one man and wounded another while both were in a car in the Pittsburgh suburbs.
The suspect, 28-year-old Daevon Plowden, was in custody Thursday awaiting arraignment on charges including criminal homicide and aggravated assault.
Police say he fatally shot 26-year-old Tamar Taylor, of Munhall, and wounded another man in Brentwood. That happened about 9:40 p.m. Wednesday.
Police say Taylor was shot multiple times. The other victim was taken to a hospital with a lower body wound that is not life-threatening.
Court papers that spell out a motive and chain of events were not immediately available.
Online court records don’t list an attorney for Plowden.
