SIX LAKES, Mich. (AP) - Authorities say a couple is dead after a Buick was struck head-on by a car trying to pass multiple vehicles at once in Montcalm County.

Montcalm sheriff’s deputies said in a news release that an Audi S4 driving north near Six Lakes tried to pass several vehicles and hit the southbound Buick. The Morning Sun of Mount Pleasant (https://bit.ly/1NQQGdH ) reports the Buick’s driver, 88-year-old Raymond Wrona of Grand Rapids, and his wife, 88-year-old Mary Wrona, were killed in the crash Sunday.

The Audi’s driver and his passenger were taken to a hospital and treated for injuries.
