RALEIGH, N.C. (AP) - Bestselling author the Rev. Jim Wallis is speaking in Raleigh about his latest book on racism and white privilege.
Wallis will speak Tuesday evening at Edenton Street United Methodist Church along with the Rev. William Barber, founder of the “Moral Monday” and president of the North Carolina chapter of the NAACP.
The discussion will focus on Wallis’ book “America’s Original Sin: Racism, White Privilege and the Bridge to a New America.” Wallis will sign copies of the book.
Barber will also sign his book, “The Third Reconstruction.”
Quail Ridge Books is sponsoring the event, which is free.
