COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Travelers flying in and out of Columbus now can take a public shuttle service between the airport and downtown.
The Central Ohio Transit Authority says the new route began operating Monday. A kickoff ceremony is planned for Wednesday.
The shuttle will provide direct bus service to Port Columbus International Airport from the downtown area from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. every day of the week. The cost is $2.75.
Buses will make a series of downtown stops every 30 minutes along a loop that serves more than a dozen hotels and the Columbus Convention Center.
Shuttles from the airport back to downtown will leave the airport every half hour.
