SHERIDAN, Wyo. (AP) - Authorities say a 28-year-old man died in a house fire in Sheridan, and another person was treated at a hospital for smoke inhalation.

The Sheridan Press reports (https://bit.ly/1SKVJcA ) firefighters arrived early Tuesday morning to find the home engulfed in flames. The victim was identified later in the day as Joshua Davis, who was receiving treatment at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Sheridan and had family members in Billings, Montana.

Authorities have not released the name of the person who was treated for smoke inhalation.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
