PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say a pedestrian is dead after an accident with a city bus in Phoenix.
Phoenix police say a man was dragged and then run over while trying to get on the bus Tuesday afternoon near 24th Street and Camelback Road.
Phoenix Fire Department officials say medical crews were unable to provide life-saving efforts on the man, whose name hasn’t been released.
A Valley Metro spokeswoman says the bus involved in the fatal accident is branded as Valley Metro but is operated by the city of Phoenix.
