STOCKBRIDGE, Ga. (AP) - Police have arrested a person in connection with a shooting at a Henry County party that injured a 16-year-old girl.

Henry County Police Capt. Joey Smith says 20-year-old Richard Andrew Dickerson turned himself in to police over the weekend. Investigators believe Dickerson shot the girl April 23 at a pool party attended by more than 200 teens.

Before Dickerson surrendered, police already had three people in custody. The night of the shooting, police arrested 19-year-old Kordion Wilson Cousins on a disorderly conduct charge.

The same night, police arrested 19-year-old Dartavious Davis and 18-year-old Selah Alin Morgan on reckless conduct charges.

The injured teen has undergone at least two surgeries at Atlanta Medical Center. Smith says she was in stable condition Monday.
