ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) - A 35-year-old woman has been jailed after allegedly ramming Albuquerque police cars while driving erratically with her two children in her car.

Patsy Raylene Anaya was arrested Monday night on suspicion of multiple crimes, including aggravated driving while intoxicated, child abuse and aggravated assault on a police officer with a deadly weapon.

Police say Anaya nearly struck two officers as they spoke with her boyfriend.

Police say attempts to stop Anaya were unsuccessful and that she twice rammed police cars until police vehicles pinned her car against a curb.

They described her as “extremely intoxicated and combative.” The children ages 12 and 16 were described as “very shaken up” but not physically injured.

It’s not immediately known whether Anaya has an attorney who could comment on the allegations.
