DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a husband and wife have been killed in a car crash in central Florida.

The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://tinyurl.com/jlepeam) reports that the crash occurred Sunday in Daytona Beach.

Police say Gary and Deborah Miller’s car attempted to make a left turn into the path of an oncoming car driven by 28-year-old George Hatzimouratides.

Officials say Gary Miller, the driver, was killed instantly. His wife was pronounced dead at the hospital. The Millers were both 62 years old and were from Ponce Inlet.

The crash remains under investigation.
