CHARLESTON, S.C. (AP) - A prayer service to show appreciation for Lowcountry law enforcement officers is scheduled to be held in Charleston.
Wednesday’s event at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in the city’s historic district is a time for the community and clergy to remind law officers how much they mean to the community.
Officers from the Charleston, North Charleston and Mount Pleasant police departments are attending as are deputies form the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office and officers from other local, state and federal agencies.
