LANCASTER, Pa. (AP) - Authorities have released the name of a bicyclist who died after he rode his bike off a loading ramp, landed wrong and fell onto the concrete on a college campus in central Pennsylvania.

The Lancaster County coroner’s office said 19-year-old Devon Coward of Manheim Township died after the 6:30 p.m. Monday accident.

Emergency crews worked on him for about 25 minutes after they were called to the rear of a fitness center on the Franklin & Marshall College campus in Lancaster, but they were unable to revive him.

Police said Coward had been with two other males at the time.

LNP reports that the college said in a statement that Coward wasn’t a student or an employee and said his death appeared to “a tragic accident.”
