Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler gets an awful lot of flak.

After spraining his thumb in Week 2, an injury that was originally believed to only cost him two or three weeks, Cutler missed the next five games. Many believe it was because Cutler, who had 13 interceptions and 11 lost fumbles in his past 17 games before Monday, was no longer favored as the starting quarterback, losing the job to journeyman Brian Hoyer.

But in the most recent installment of Monday Night Football, Cutler shocked the football world by dismantling the NFL’s top defense, throwing for 252 yards and a touchdown without turning the ball over in a 20-10 win over the Minnesota Vikings.

That effort was enough for Cutler’s wife, former actress and reality star Kristin Cavallari, to take to Twitter to basically tell everyone to get off of her husband’s back.

Surely seeing the constant criticism of your husband in a major city like Chicago must get pretty old pretty quickly. So when said husband has that one solid effort, you have to take your quick jab.
