BURTON, Mich. (AP) - Police say a 12-year-old girl is dead and six others injured after a single-vehicle rollover crash in Genesee County.

Burton police Chief Tom Osterholzer says three children were thrown from the SUV on Monday night after the 18-year-old driver lost control while heading north on Interstate 475. The SUV went off the road, struck the median and rolled several times.

The Flint Journal reports (https://bit.ly/2f3uLns ) a 9-month-old child and two other passengers have been listed in critical condition and the driver was listed in stable condition.

Osterholzer says those involved in the crash are from Flint, Davison and the Burton area. The cause of the crash is under investigation.
