Woman, 66, shot during robbery attempt in Fenton

FENTON, Mo. (AP) - A 66-year-old woman is critically injured after being shot on the parking lot of a restaurant in the St. Louis suburb of Fenton.

KMOV-TV (https://bit.ly/2eP8wjX ) reports that the woman was outside a Denny’s restaurant waiting for a friend at 1 a.m. Friday when she was approached by a man. During an attempted robbery, she was shot in the torso.

Police say no arrests have been made.
