NEW YORK (AP) - Police have released surveillance video that shows a man punching a 64-year-old man in the face at a New York City street corner last summer. The victim later died.

The New York Police Department says officers responded around midnight on June 25 to a report of an unconscious man at the corner of Queens Boulevard and Main Street in the Briarwood section of Queens. The man was unresponsive and suffering from head trauma.

He later died at Jamaica Hospital. Police later identified him as Patrick Gorman, who lived near the scene of the attack.

Street surveillance video shows Gorman walking toward the intersection and being punched in the face by a man who approaches him from behind. Gorman then struggles to get up as the assailant casually walks away as he is joined by a woman.
