LOWELL, Mass. (AP) - Authorities have identified a woman who died following a fight outside a party in Lowell.
The Middlesex District Attorney’s Office says it’s investigating the death of 44-year-old Gloribel Orengo, of Lowell, as a homicide.
Lowell police responding to a report of an injured woman late Saturday night found Orengo with serious injuries. She was taken to a hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
Authorities say a preliminary investigation indicates Orengo was one of several people involved in a fight outside a home after being asked to leave a party.
No arrests have been made. The investigation is ongoing.
