TRENTON, N.J. (AP) - The Latest on Gov. Chris Christie’s Cabinet meeting in Trenton. (all times local):

7:30 p.m.

New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie says a Cabinet meeting held a day after meeting with Republican President-elect Donald Trump had been set for weeks and that too much was being read into it.

Christie, a Republican, said Monday on his regular radio call-in show on 101.5 FM that he and his Cabinet officials discussed transportation and other state business.

He also said his relationship with Republican Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno (gwah-DAH’-noh) who was at the meeting and who disagreed with Christie on a recent gas tax hike is “great.”

Christie met with Trump on Sunday at the president-elect’s golf club in Bedminster, but it’s unclear what they discussed.

Christie reiterated on the show that he plans to serve out his term as governor, which ends in January 2018.

The governor also criticized the now-convicted defendants in the George Washington Bridge trial as liars for testifying that he knew more about the 2013 plot than he has said.
