WASHINGTON (AP) - Police and fire officials say a woman was critically injured after an accidental fire.

Officials say the woman was found on Holbrook Street in northeast Washington early Tuesday. Police say the woman suffered burns and was taken to an area hospital.

Police spokesman Dustin Sternbeck says detectives are reviewing surveillance camera footage. He says it appears that “the burns were sustained accidentally.”
