DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover police are investigating armed robberies at two businesses in the city.
Police say around 7:30 on Friday evening, a man with a gun came inside The Little Grocer on East Division Street and demanded money. Police say the man took the entire cash register and drove away in a car. Images of the man were captured by surveillance cameras, although his face was covered by a bandanna.
Shortly after 1 p.m. Saturday, police say two men robbed the 7-Eleven in the Hamlet Shopping Center. Police say one of the men was armed with a handgun. Police say the other man went behind the counter and stole cash from the register and several packs of cigarettes.
Police have not identified suspects in either robbery.
