NEW YORK (AP) - Police say a man is under arrest after he threatened a woman with a gun on a New York City subway train.
The incident started at 3 a.m. Saturday after a 23-year-old woman boarded a northbound No. 2 train at Times Square.
Police say a man sat next to the woman, started talking to her and put his hand on her leg.
They say he pointed a gun at her when she told him to stop, then tried unsuccessfully to make her get off the train with him.
The woman noticed a Playboy bunny tattoo on the man’s neck. Twenty-nine-year-old Sharif Mitchel was arrested after the description was broadcast over police radio. A .380-caliber handgun was recovered.
It’s not clear if Mitchel has a lawyer who could speak for him.
