BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Police in western New York now say they don’t expect foul play in the deaths of a man and a woman whose bodies were found inside a home in Buffalo over the weekend.

Officers discovered the bodies around 3 p.m. Sunday inside an apartment located on the city’s northeast side.

Investigators believe the deceased knew each other.

Erie County medical examiners are conducting autopsies to determine the cause of death.

Police say Monday that they don’t suspect foul play in the deaths.

No further details have been released.
