ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) - A new casino coming to New York’s Finger Lakes says it will open its doors on Feb. 1.

Del Lago Resort and Casino announced the opening date Monday. It’s one of four casinos planned for upstate New York.

The $440 million facility in Tyre, west of Syracuse, features 2,000 slot machines, 85 gambling tables, multiple restaurants and a 2,400-person entertainment venue.

An on-site hotel is expected to open next summer.

Del Lago is one of four casinos approved for upstate New York. The others are Montreign Resort Casino in the Catskills, the Rivers Casino & Resort in Schenectady and Tioga Downs in the Southern Tier. Tioga Downs is expanding from an electronic gambling parlor into a full resort casino.
