SELBYVILLE, Del. (AP) - Delaware State Police say a burglar stole three guns from a Selbyville home and fired two shots as he fled from the home’s owner.

Police say in a statement that a man entered a home on Sanbru Lane early Sunday and took three guns.

As the man took one gun from a drawer, police say a resident woke up and confronted the burglar. He chased the man out of the home, but as the burglar left, he fired two shots. No one was hurt.

Police say they found two of the three guns, ammunition and numerous coins that were dropped by the burglar as he fled.
