ANDERSON, S.C. (AP) - Authorities have released more details about the shooting where a 59-year-old woman is charged with killing her husband in their Anderson County home.
Sheriff’s deputies said Janet Selvey shot her husband after they argued around 4 a.m. Monday.
Lt. Sheila Cole said in a news release that 60-year-old Ronnie Selvey was shot several times and beaten with a blunt object after the couple had argued the night before.
Investigators say Janet Selvey was charged with murder after talking to deputies about the shooting. It isn’t known if she had a lawyer.
