DUNCAN, Okla. (AP) - A first-degree murder charge has been filed against a Marlow man in the death of a Duncan woman.
Prosecutors on Tuesday charged 25-year-old Baltazar Sanchez-Garcia in the death of 20-year-old Linda Salazar.
Sanchez-Garcia is not in custody and Stephens County Sheriff Wayne McKinney says he may be in Mexico and is considered dangerous.
Salazar disappeared Nov. 5 after leaving work. Court documents say she apparently called Sanchez-Garcia that day and her body was found Nov. 7 in a barn near Sanchez-Garcia’s home near Marlow
The state medical examiner has determined Salazar’s throat was cut.
