CONSTANTIA, N.Y. (AP) - New York State Police say they’ve charged two men in connection with the robbery of a bank in Oswego County.
State police say a man walked into the Fulton Savings Bank in Constantia around 11:40 a.m. Monday, displayed a weapon and demanded money from the tellers.
The suspect, who was wearing a camouflage mask during the robbery, fled the scene with an undisclosed amount of cash. The sheriff’s office helicopter and K-9 units from neighboring Onondaga County were unable to locate the man.
Troopers say around 3:40 a.m. they arrested two local residents - an 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old man - and charged them with a felony robbery. Both are being held in the county jail without bail.
The arrests came after troopers released surveillance camera images from the bank.
