WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) - Two men have been sentenced for a robbery that left a South Florida taxi cab driver dead.
The Palm Beach Post (https://goo.gl/WRF0ng ) reports that 24-year-old Christian Eberhardt received 30 years on Thursday, and 25-year-old Brian Javon Brown received 15. Both men were convicted of manslaughter in September. Eberhardt’s verdict included the use of a firearm, leading to the longer sentence.
Prosecutors say the men tried to rob Madsen Paul during a cab ride in Lake Worth in 2012. Authorities say Eberhardt shot the driver, who died several days later.
