GADSDEN, Ala. (AP) - Etowah County authorities say an Alabama man is charged in the gunshot killings of his mother and her boyfriend.

Sheriff Todd Entrekin says 43-year-old Jeremy James Jerry of Gadsden is accused of capital murder. He is jailed without bond in the deaths of 65-year-old Joyce Ann Brown Good and 62-year-old Jimmie Ray Lively.

The two were shot to death Wednesday in Glencoe. Authorities say the suspect told investigators what happened, and security cameras outside the house captured images of critical evidence.

Court records aren’t yet available to show whether Jerry has a lawyer who could speak on his behalf.
