FLORENCE, Ariz. (AP) - A San Tan Valley couple face Dec. 6 sentencings for leaving their 2-year-old son alone while they went to play the “Pokemon Go” smartphone game.

The Casa Grande Dispatch (https://goo.gl/ogHH9I ) reports that 27-year-old Brent Daley and 26-year-old Brianna Daley pleaded guilty Tuesday in Pinal County Superior Court to misdemeanor endangerment.

They had been charged with felony child abuse in the July 29 incident during which a neighbor found the boy crying outside the couple’s home.

Authorities say the child was barefoot and wearing a diaper and a T-shirt.

A plea agreement calls for the Daleys to receive supervised probation and complete parenting classes, with contact with their son to be directed by the state Department of Child Safety.

The department is handling a dependency case related to the criminal case.
