ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) - A central Florida man has been sentenced to 45 years in prison for a fatal home invasion he committed when he was still a teen.

The Orlando Sentinel (https://goo.gl/PnwLYk) reports that the now-21-year-old man was sentenced Wednesday. He was convicted in April of murder, armed robbery and armed burglary with an assault.

Authorities say the man was 16 in July 2012 when he and two other 16-year-olds broke into a Pine Hills home and attacked a 67-year-old disabled man, Esteban Calderon. Authorities say Calderon was beaten in the head with a concrete paver and died four days later.

The two other teens involved in the attack are serving 15-year sentences.
