CLARKSTON, Ga. (AP) - Authorities have charged two suspects with murder following a Clarkston home invasion in which their alleged accomplice was gunned down.

The DeKalb County Police Department tells news outlets that 32-year-old Curtis B. Turner and the two suspects were forcing their way into a home Oct. 10 near the Clarkston campus of Georgia State University’s Perimeter College when Turner was shot to death by an occupant.

Warrants released Wednesday show that Turner’s alleged partners - 27-year-old Benjamin J. Florence, of Stone Mountain, and 21-year-old Tyler A. Brown, of Smyrna - each face a charge of felony murder. Police say the suspects caused Turner’s death by taking part in the home invasion.

Investigators say they have not determined whether the shooter will also face charges. It’s unclear whether the suspects have attorneys.
