COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho (AP) - Authorities in northern Idaho have identified the woman and two young children whose bodies were recovered from a submerged vehicle.

The Kootenai County Sheriff’s Office on Friday identified the victims as 25-year-old Misty Phelps of Coeur d’Alene and her two children, 2-year-old Riley Phelps and 1-year-old Tristan Phelps.

The sheriff’s office says autopsies will be conducted Friday on all three.

The vehicle was located under water on the west side of Fernan Lake on Thursday morning.

A dive team was called in to recover the bodies.

Other details were not available and the sheriff’s office says the investigation is ongoing.
