MANCHESTER, N.H. (AP) - A New Hampshire man is headed to prison for the shooting death of a 44-year-old Manchester man last year.

Thirty-three-year-old Drew Morris, of Manchester, pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder in the August 2015 killing of Raymond Drake, whose body was found in a city apartment. A judge sentenced Morris to 25 years to life in prison.

Prosecutors say the men were apparently two strangers who had met that night and got into an argument that ended in violence.

Prosecutors say three shots were fired. Morris initially told police the shooting was self-defense.

Morris apologized in court.
