BROOKVILLE, Ohio (AP) - Authorities investigating a shooting at an Ohio gas station after a crash have identified the Tennessee woman who was killed, a policeman who was hurt and a suspect arrested after a search.

Police haven’t disclosed who shot whom or why during the confrontation Monday night in Brookville, near Dayton.

Investigators have said the shooting occurred as officers searched for a woman who ran from a crashed vehicle. Police reported that someone in a different SUV fired shots and fled. Two officers also fired shots, including the one who was wounded.

The Dayton Daily News (https://bit.ly/2ehRgR9 ) reports the deceased woman, 31-year-old Ashley Sides, was the fiancee of the jailed man, 27-year-old Conrad Davis. They’re from Cookeville.

Court records listed no attorney for Davis, who’s being held on assault and gun charges.
