PHOENIX (AP) - Authorities say one person is dead and another driver injured after two vehicles collided and then crashed into a city bus in Phoenix.

Phoenix police say the name of the person killed in Thursday morning’s accident is being withheld until relatives can be notified.

They say a pickup truck crossed over lanes and collided with an SUV.

The vehicles then struck a Valley Metro Bus that was also approaching a stop.

The driver of the SUV was pronounced dead on scene.

Police say the driver of the truck was transported to the hospital with serious injury and is expected to survive.

There were about 15 passengers on the bus, but no major injuries were reported.

Police say their investigation into the crash is continuing.
