ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. (AP) - Police say a Jersey Shore taxi cab driver was stabbed and then drove himself to a police station in Atlantic City.

Police tell WPVI-TV (https://6abc.cm/2e4YFbe) the attacker stabbed the taxi driver in the eye and hand just before midnight Wednesday.

They say he then fled the scene.

The taxi driver drove a block to the police station for help.

Medics took him to the hospital where he is listed in stable condition.

There’s no word on a motive.
