PEMBROKE, Mass. (AP) - Police in a Massachusetts town have arrested a masked Donald Trump supporter who they say was waving a plastic knife and a Hillary Clinton sign along a busy road.
WBZ-TV reports (https://cbsloc.al/2fFHvBc ) that Pembroke police officers arrested Joe Pecevich (PEHS’-eh-vich) on Wednesday after getting calls from drivers who were worried about him.
The man was wearing boots, military fatigue pants and a hooded sweatshirt that masked his face. The officers say they repeatedly ordered him to drop the knife, which turned out to be a plastic toy. He was charged with disorderly conduct.
Pecevich says it’s sad he almost got shot by police for a parody. He says he supports the Republican presidential candidate and was expressing his opinion that Clinton is soft on terrorism.
