BRENTWOOD, N.H. (AP) - Three people have pleaded guilty to beating a woman and her friends outside a New Hampshire karaoke bar earlier this year, leaving them badly injured.
The Portsmouth Herald (https://bit.ly/2ekjcUa ) reports that 22-year-old Casey Walker, 22-year-old Jacob Butts and Butts’ 24-year-old brother, Caleb, were sentenced Thursday to serve time in the Rockingham County House of Corrections. The sentences ranged from 90 days to a year.
They pleaded guilty to assault charges. A judge ordered them to pay restitution and other expenses to the victims.
Authorities say the group assaulted the 40-year-old woman and her two friends outside the bar at Hampton Beach in January. Prosecutors say cellphone footage captured Walker pummeling the woman and dragging her by the hair.
Two others are charged in the case.
