BIRMINGHAM, Ala. (AP) - Police have captured a 29-year-old man who police believe gunned down his girlfriend in her eastern Birmingham home.

Media outlets report that Brandon Woodall was charged Tuesday with capital murder in the shooting death of 25-year-old Kaeyleah Lewis.

The two had argued Monday night and investigators say they found Lewis’ body inside her home Tuesday morning. The charge is capital because authorities say he broke into her home.

Al.com (https://bit.ly/2f0EpXo ) reports this is the second time a woman who dated Woodall has been killed.

In 2012, Woodall’s 22-year-old girlfriend Antanisha Dawson was found shot dead on the side of a road. Dawson was last known to be alive at Woodall’s home, but no arrests have ever been made in her death.

It’s unclear whether Woodall has an attorney.
